Petition Drive a Success

We collected over 300 signatures on our petition, in spite of the horrible weahter experienced both last weekend and this one. I want to thank Mark, Jodi, Jim, Mary, Fran and Lori for their hard work in helping to create awareness on this issue.

We will submit the petition to the Town Council at their meeting tomorrow 6/26. According to the agenda on the town web site an executive session is scheduled for 5:30 pm with the meeting to follow. The petition will be presented during public comment. The TC will also be voting to officially hire our new Town Manager. Hope you all can be there.

Next, the plan is to come before the School Committee during their June 29 meeting and comment on this situation.
