Petition Submitted to Town Council
The petition was submitted to the Town Council last night. Thanks to all 360 of you who signed the petition. Thanks to Ralph who turned in almost 40 more signatures late yesterday afternoon. Thanks to the people I mentioned in a previous post who worked hard to collect these signatures. We demonstrated that the neighborhood is aware of this issue and the Town Council is now aware that the neighborhood has concerns about this road proposal. I look forward to a future meeting that should include all parties to this issue.
In case you couldn't make the meeting, here is a link to the KC Times article describing what happened:

This is the beginning of a process. The next step is for us to appear before the School Committee Thursday 6/29 @ 7:00 pm. If we are not on the agenda, I'll make some comments during public participation. Hope to see many of you there.
This is a school worth protecting. This is a neighborhood worth fighting for.
