Message Delivered

I attended the School Committee meeting tonight. It was sad, it was like being at a wake. The SC discussed and voted to make the cuts it had previously said were necessary to "reconcile" the budget. There were no winners tonight.

During public participation I was able to present information about the HH road issue to the School Committee, the Superintendent and Admin. Staff. Thanks to some people from "western" who spoke to me and showed some support. The SC has agreed to place this item on their July 11 meeting agenda. I hope that the HH neighbors and friends will be able to attend this meeting.
